Tireni is a young but ambitious artist of Nigerian heritage, born in London in 2004. From a young age, Tireni acquired a strong passion for art and began to truly showcase her skills by the age of eight years old. Her talent and determination led to her receiving various accolades from art competitions and this passion was soon acknowledged by her places of education, leading to her being offered art scholarships from various schools as she entered secondary school. Her artistic flair became more apparent throughout her secondary school years, causing her to be awarded and named the best fine artist of her year.
Tireni has mainly focused on portraiture, however as she grew older architecture became a stronger interest of hers as through her interaction with the buildings around, it became evident to her that architecture continually shapes our lives. Being particularly drawn to the historical and symbolic significance of architecture in the progression of our communities, Tireni’s interest into the concept of ‘the spirit of the city’ was formed and assured her belief in the physical environment influencing our way of living. Tireni now proceeds to embark on her architectural journey, allowing her to further harness her artistic and analytical abilities, whilst still exploring other art forms.
Beloved by many, Tireni’s art expands from simple works to advanced and often philosophical ideas that cause the audience to view her art in different and nuanced perspectives.
